Dofus will forever hold a special place in my heart Apr-09-2020

USA, 2006. Found it on one of those mmorpg list websites. I've never heard anyone in America talk about Kamas Dofus Retro. My friend and I have been playing it on and off since then. Probably my greatest love of any game. That's why I keep coming back but still never made it to level 200 so go figure.

I remember when the first person hit 200 on Rosal or maybe it was Rushu. A feca and Ankama gave him a ridiculous staff that could hit at like 6 range for 2ap so OP.

I'll never forget the blop dungeon, the sound blops make, and grinding crackrocks in Asturb. Also, I love the classic asturb music. Which I still whistle it to this day.The weapon was the Ramboton ! Or I assume they might have translated in English :) it was sooo OP at the time..

Im from the Netherlands, I discovered dofus around 2009-2010 when I was 9 years old hahah. I believe I saw it in an article in a game magazine for kids!

It’s definitly NOT a thing here, especially since they closed the only dutch server (Dark Vlad) :( I had some really good times with it in my childhood though! It was really my first online game experience, I remember my mom not allowing me to chat with other people first because she thought they would ALL be pedos hahah... Eventually I made some friends though! I can definitly say Dofus played a big part in my taste in gaming and maybe even how to make friends online.

I still play some dofus touch every now and then. Dofus will forever hold a special place in my heart as my first MMORPG experience! Also a Dutch player here! Started in 2008 from an advertisement in the "Jetix Magazine". I'm still going strong on Ilyzaelle these days.

Eventually moved from Rushu to Rosal when it finally opened and couldn’t have been happier with that choice.

A couple of my friends found it and introduced me to the game. None of us had any clue what we were doing (I made the awful choice of my first character being a dram, which killed more of my friends than the enemies did). We all made rather questionable stat/spell choices the first time around while we were learning. I’ve made lifelong friends over the years, some who still play and a lot who don’t, that all keep in contact.

The catch 22 to Cheap Dofus Kamas is that non French players are kind of shoved into an international server with each other. So sometimes communication is difficult, but you meet a lot of people you wouldn’t normally interact with in other MMOs that have region specific servers. It’s a love/hate relationship.

I am from Argentina, my parents told me my cousin from france was playing a game called Dofus, I was like 8yo or so before Dofus 2.0 came out and created an account downloaded it and played it as my first downloadable and laso first online game, wiith my sister and brother. On our computer which after we got laptop also played it from time to time. I don't think Dofus is even a thing, It created just memories which I enjoy but i never played p2p until this year, I was like at the mines with the rocks. The game was reallycool. I now downloaded it and played again with subscription and i enjoy it its fair share.

Played the super early beta by word of mouth on a gaming forum, I dont even remember which.

Is it actually a thing? I've met about 14 people (Mexico) in total IRL that played the game. In game there's a decent amount of mexicans, but nowhere near runescape/tibia/etc level, which in my eyes are from the same era.
